Karunada Chakravarthy Shivarajkumar Starrer 'Dad' Launched at Nandi Temple in Chamundi Hill

The muhurat ceremony of Shivarajkumar starrer "Dad" was held at Nandi Temple on Chamundi Hill in Mysuru on Monday. Geetha Shivarajkumar showed the opening plaque for the first scene of the film and wished the team all the best. About 32 years ago, Shivarajkumar's 'Jaga Mechida Boyadu' was also launched in front of a huge Nandi idol on Chamundi Hill in Mysuru. Now, shivanna's new film "Dad" has been launched in the same Nandi temple.

Harish Peddi, who had earlier produced Telugu films like 'Bhagwanth Kesari', 'Ugram', 'Tuck Jagadish' etc., is producing the film under the banner of Myra Creations. Anil Kanneganti, who has directed films like 'Sadhyadu', 'Mr Nukayya' and 'Hidimba' in Telugu, has written the story, screenplay and direction for the film. This is the first kannada film for producers and directors. 'Shivanna 131' is produced by B.S. Sudhindra is the executive producer of the film. It is a father sentiment film and will have a lot of thrilling elements. Shivarajkumar is playing the role of a doctor in the film. Shivarajkumar, who was earlier seen as a doctor in 'Gadibidi Krishna', is back as a doctor in this film after almost 27 years. The film will be shot in Bengaluru and Mysore for about 50 days.

Apart from Shivarajkumar, 'Dad' also stars Sharmila Mandre, Baby Nakshatra, Babu, Malayalam actor Suraj Venjaramoodu and others. The film is being made in Kannada, Telugu and Malayalam and has music by Arjun Janya. B Rajasekhar, who has worked as a cinematographer for Telugu films like 'Orange' and 'Arya 2', is the cinematographer of the film.
