It's foolish to speak against Kohli: Sumalatha's anger amid the stampede tragedy!

The horrific stampede that occurred during RCB's victory celebrations at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium has severely polluted the minds of the people of the state. Over the incident, in which 11 innocent people were killed, some people have lashed out at RCB player Virat Kohli. Former MP Sumalatha Ambareesh has strongly condemned the comments. Sharing her opinion on social media, Sumalatha shared a post by film expert Sakthi Saravanan and said, "Those who use a tragedy to upset Kohli are fools."

According to Sumalatha, "public safety is the responsibility of the government", the tragedy was due to the negligence of the state government and the local administration which did not have proper planning. "Kohli has not organised crowds, he has not handled the logistics. He was just sharing the excitement with his fans. It is all about targeting him," he said.

Virat Kohli is a symbol of the country's pride and inspiration. An attempt to hold such a person responsible for a tragedy turns out to be political or ignorant. Sumalatha demanded a thorough probe into why the government and the administration had done wrong and the guilty should be punished severely. This is a time for intense introspection. It is clear that the administration is not prepared at the top of expectations. But misleading people using hate language is also a loss for the society.
