Shivanna in San Francisco!; Hat-trick hero Shivaraj Kumar goes for biopic release

Hat-trick hero and proud Kannada actor Dr. Shivarajkumar visited San Francisco on June 8 for the launch of a book titled "Srimuthu", which contains his biographies. The event was held at HUSD Performing Arts Centre (Hayward, CA). Shivanna, his wife Geetha Shivarajkumar and producer K.P. Srikanth joined the celebrations. The book 'Srimuthu', which reflects the life of this stalwart who completed 40 years of Kannada cinema, has been written on the basis of accurate information gathered from family, friends and the film fraternity.

"I don't know how much I deserve this book. I am not a practical man. I speak what comes to mind. I can't do a play," he said with a certain courage. When fans said, "You have to live for 100 years", Shivanna jokingly said: "I won't live for 100 years, but i have to be good as long as I can. You have to take away the good memories."

As part of the programme, Shivanna entertained with a singing-dancing rasamanjari. He sang the hit songs of his films Anand and other films. On this occasion, he seemed to be reacting to Tamil actor Kamal Haasan's controversial statement: "We can't get caught saying something," he said, reflecting on the philosophy of his long experience.
