Rashmika Mandanna, who has completed her Oman tour with Vijay, is now shooting for a horror-comedy film in Ooty. Actress Rashmika Mandanna has left for Ooty for the shooting of her new film 'Thama'. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role along with Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana. The film is being directed by Aditya Sarpotdar of 'Munjya' fame. 'Thama' is in the horror-comedy genre and is part of the world of 'Stree' and 'Bhediya' films. The shooting started on April 28 in the dense forests and retrograde hills of Ooty and will go on till May 25. During this period, the climax of the film and the love scenes between the hero and the dog are being shot. Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be seen playing the role of a mysterious vampire in the film and will join the shoot in mid-May. The story of the film revolves around a determined historian who uncovers the dark secrets behind local vampire myths. The film also stars Paresh Rawal in a pivotal role. 'Thama' is expected to release during Diwali 2025. The film has a combination of horror and comedy and will give a different experience to the audience.
