‘Kantara: Chapter 1’ to be released on October 2nd, pre-premiere show planned!

The much-awaited Kannada film 'Kantara: Chapter 1' is all set for release. Directed and starring Rishab Shetty, the film is slated to hit the screens on October 2. The promotional work of the film is already in full swing. Rishab Shetty and Hombale Films are reportedly planning to follow the same campaign strategy as the recently hit 'Su From So'.
Produced by Raj B Shetty, 'Su From So' had paid premiere shows in several cities of the state ahead of its official release. These shows had garnered good collections even before the release of the film. As people shared their experiences, the audience was responsible for the publicity. This different technique was a big reason for the box office success.
The team is planning to use the same route for the film 'Kantara: Chapter 1'. While the official release of the film will be held on October 2, the special premiere shows will be held in major cities of the country three days early. It will be premiered in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Calcutta, Chennai and other cities. Ticket prices for these shows will be higher than usual and the plan is to get additional collections. The film will get free publicity through a wave of people's enthusiasm.
Known as the 'Shetty Gang', the team has successfully used the paid premiere technique several times. Rakshit Shetty's '777 Charlie' had a huge collection at the premiere shows. Prior to that, I had tried a similar thing in films like 'Avane Srimannarayana' and 'Nogaraj'.
This time, Rishab Shetty is also following the same path. The first part of 'Kantara' was a special feature in the Indian film industry. Now, there is a lot of anticipation about 'Kantara: Chapter 1' across the country. There is no need for much publicity as fans are waiting for the release of the film. However, it is also being used to test the film's box office strength through paid premieres and to raise people's expectations.
Kannada cinema has been making waves at the box office these days with the success of films like 'Ekka', 'Junior', 'Su From So' and 'Ezhumale'. Now he hopes to take it to another level with 'Kantara: Chapter 1'. The excitement of the fans, the team's new promotional strategy and Rishab Shetty's magic all make the film a big hit in the Indian film industry.
Will you buy tickets to watch the paid premiere show or wait for the official release on October 2?
