Tamil actor Kamal Haasan has created a lot of anger among Kannadigas by saying that "Kannada language is born out of Tamil". Actress Rachita Ram has now clearly shared her opinion on social media, amid strong reactions from people from various walks of life.

"Be somewhere, be a Kannadiga forever..." Rachita started her post with the song and wrote, "Being criticized for our language means we don't just sit idle. Kannadigas have a believing heart. They respect all languages. But if we speak ill of Kannada, we must condemn it," he said.

At the same time, he cited the example of an old Kannada song "Not all grown-ups are smart, not all the little ones are buffaloes" and said that it is an honour to apologise after committing a mistake. "If the younger ones make a mistake, we stumble. But if the elders make a mistake, they also have a responsibility to apologise," he said.

Speaking about Kannada Rajyotsava, love for language, and respect, Rachita Ram said, "It is not against any language. We love Kannada, respect all languages. But it is not right to indulge in language untruths," he said.

Through this response, Rachita Ram has expressed her courage and loyalty to the language, hailing it as the bravest response of a younger generation artiste to the veteran actor's statement.
