Darshan-Vijayalakshmi wedding invitation goes viral: Celebrating 22 years of marriage!

Kannada actor Darshan and his wife Vijayalakshmi are celebrating their 22nd wedding anniversary today. The couple tied the knot in a simple ceremony in Dharmasthala on May 19, 2003, and are now in their 22nd year of marriage. His old wedding invitation card has also gone viral on social media. The brief description of the invitation letter reads: “The marriage will take place on Monday, May 19, 2003, from 9:10 am to 9:50 am in mithuna lagna at Vasanth Mahal in Dharmasthala. I request you to come to the wedding and bless me.”

Darshan's wife Vijayalakshmi took to her Instagram handle to share a picture of her husband. Vijayalakshmi, a graduate in science, has always stood by Darshan's side and has been a powerful supporter through the ups and downs of his life. Even when Darshan was in custody in the Renuka Swamy murder case, Vijayalakshmi stood up bravely for her husband in the face of all the difficulties surrounding her. The couple has been back together ever since Darshan was released on full-fledged bail six months later. On the film front, Darshan is currently busy with the shooting of his next film 'Devil'. Director Prakash of Milana fame is directing the film and there is a huge expectation from the fans.
