Chandni spotted in a saree at Cannes Film Festival

The prestigious Cannes Film Festival concluded recently in Cannes, France. The festival was attended by several Indian actresses and Chandini, who had acted in the Kannada film 'A', also walked the red carpet.
Though many Indian actresses participated in the red carpet section of the festival, all of them were seen in modern outfits. Actress Chandini gave a glimpse of India's tradition and heritage by appearing on the red carpet in a blue saree. Apart from Chandni, Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai was also seen in a Banarasi saree.
Chandini has redefined the carpet glamour by wearing a saree at such a prestigious event. Apart from bringing the centuries-old tradition of wearing a saree to the global stage, she has also inspired international designers to explore the importance and attractiveness of the saree.
