Anushka Sharma – Why did you get married before 30? The decision was made out of love and purpose.

Anushka Sharma got married to cricket superstar Virat Kohli at the age of 29, amidst the protocol that actresses in Bollywood usually get married only after the age of 35. The dreamy wedding, which took place in Tuscany, Italy, won the hearts of fans not only across the country but also globally. However, in a recent interview, Anushka personally answered the question as to why she got married so early.

"I was in love. So I got married," Anushka said in an interview with Pinkvilla, "I believed in my love and got married. I am 29 years old. Some people say it's a young age. But love is the strength of my decision." His words are said to be a powerful response against stereotypes in the entire film industry. But people enjoy watching artworks more than our personal lives," anushka opined, questioning the view of looking down on marriage and motherhood.

Anushka and Virat were blessed with their daughter Vamika in January 2021. They recently received a baby boy named Akai. The couple, who keep their family life almost private, are diligently taking every step forward.

Anushka Sharma is making a comeback to the big screen with 'Chakda Express', a film based on the life of cricket legend Jhulan Goswami. He is expected to bring new enthusiasm from acting in this biopic.
