Sandalwood actor Vinod Raj has repaired potholes on the Nelamangala-Doddaballapura road at his own expense before the monsoon, providing safety to motorists. Sandalwood actor Vinod Raj has shown social responsibility right from the beginning of the rainy season. On the morning of May 21, 2025, wearing a dhoti, he was busy closing the potholes on the road connecting Nelamangala to Doddaballapura.

Several potholes had developed on the road due to heavy rains over the past few days. This caused inconvenience to motorists and raised fears of accidents. Vinod Raj used cement-mixed gravel at his expense to close the potholes with the help of tractors and JCBs. It's just an old iteration. In 2024 too, he had repaired the road from Kare Kall Cross to Soladevanahalli. This time too, they have continued their social concern and joined hands for safe movement.

The work has been widely appreciated by locals and social media users and has inspired others as well. There was also a message that such sincere efforts for road maintenance should be a warning to the government as well.
