Zameer's son's 'Cult' movie gets a shock from govt


Zameer Ahmed's son Zameer Ahmed's son Zaid Khan's upcoming film 'Cult' has been put on hold by the government. As the shooting was done without the permission of the forest department, the government has issued a notice to the team and ordered to stop the shooting immediately. The shooting of the film in Sanapura and Rangapura areas of Gangavathi taluk in Koppal district was stopped by the local authorities on the ground that permission was not obtained. Earlier, following allegations of deforestation during the shooting of Yash starrer 'Toxic' and Rishab Shetty starrer 'Kanthara', the government has now tightened the shooting rules for the film industry. The forest department has clarified that the move is a decision taken for forest conservation.
