Yashwanth, a young actor, made his acting debut with a 30-minute short film titled "Aakrosh" written and directed by Gowrishree. The screening and press conference of this short film, produced by Jagadish Varma, was held recently. Senior directors Omsai Prakash, Purushottam Omkar, Ratnamala and others came as chief guests and wished the short film team with their words of encouragement. Then the team members spoke.
I was introduced to producer Jagadish Varma through Ratnamala. We wanted to get my son Yashwanth to enter the film industry as a hero. So let's make a film. Let me make a short film first. Let the new boy learn acting first. Then I said let's make a film. So we made a short film first. I have earlier directed films like "Amulya", "Ritu", "Janarakshaka", "Bharathi IPS". "Amulya" and "Janarakshaka" are all set to hit the screens. Yet the story of the short film "Aakrosh" was ready in a single day. The shooting was also done in two days. Newcomer Yashwanth has learnt Kannada in this short film. A new film starring him in the lead role will also be launched soon. This short film is the beginning of that. The film has cinematography by RajaRavi, music by Vinu Manasu and editing by Shivaraj Mehu. I have also acted in it," said director Gaurishree.
"Outrage" was my first attempt. I will be acting on the big screen as well. May all of you be encouraged," said actor Yashwanth. Producer Jagadish Varma, actress Pravallika and actor Prem Malur spoke about the short film "Aakrosh".
