The Rise of Ashoka completes shooting; Satish Ninasam busy in post-production


Sathish Ninasam is acting in a much-awaited movie titled The Rise of Ashoka. The film, which has created a lot of curiosity with the title and a few posters, has now got a new update. The shooting of The Rise of Ashoka has been wrapped up and the post-production works have begun. The team has shot extensively in and around Srirangapatna, Nanjangud, Gundlupet and Bengaluru. Sathish Ninasam played the role of a revolutionary youth in The Rise of Ashoka. Set in the 70s, the story will shed light on the life and struggle of a young man who fights against injustice.
Saptami Gowda of Kanthara fame is paired opposite Sathish in The Rise of Ashoka. B Suresh, Ravishankar, Gopalakrishna Deshpande, Sampath Maithriya, Yash Shetty, Dragon Manju, Harish Peradi of Vikram Vedha fame are in the cast. After the death of director Vinod Dondale, there were rumours that 'Ashoka Blade' was shelved. But actor Sathish Ninasam has taken up the project again titled 'The Rise of Ashoka' and has successfully completed the shooting. In the poster that has already been released, Neenasam Sathish is seen in a very rugged look with a mole. The Rise of Ashoka, the biggest budget film of his cinephiles, is expected to add a new dimension to Satish's career.
Apart from Kannada, the film will also be released in Telugu and Tamil. Neenasam Sathish is also producing the film under the banner of Vriddhi Creations and Sathish Pictures House Productions along with Vardhan Narhari and Jaishnavi. The Rise of Ashoka is written by Dayanand TK, music is composed by Poornachandra Tejaswi, cinematography is by Lavith, editing by Manu Shedgar, stunts by Ravi Varma and Vikram More and choreography by Santhosh Shekhar.
