Sri Subodhendra Theertha, Head of Mantralaya Mutt, unveils the songs of the film "Sri Jagannathadasaru Part 2"

Madhusudan Havaldar is introducing the life story of the famous Haridasa of the state to the people through cinema. Films on great personalities like "Sri Jagannathadasa", "Sri Vijayadasa", "Sri Mahipatidasa", "Sri Prasanna Venkatadasa" etc. have already been released. Currently, "Sri Jagannathadasaru Part 2" is also ready to hit the screens and the songs were unveiled recently. Sri Subodhendra Theertha Sripadangal, Head of Mantralaya Mutt, released the songs of the film "Sri Jagannatha Dasa Part II" at a grand function held at Gayana Samaja. The film has music composed by Madhusudhan Havaldar and Raichur Seshagiridas and has eight songs sung by popular singers. Six songs were performed at the ceremony.
 

On this occasion, 99-year-old Sri Ananthachar Katageri, a noted dasa of the state, was felicitated. Even at this age, Katageri Dasa sang vijayadasa's keerthana and tears of joy welled up in everyone's eyes. The famous singer Sangeetha Katti's brilliant vocals also took the listeners to the world without separating them. Celebrities from various walks of life and film crew from different walks of life were present on the occasion.

Releasing the songs and giving a message of blessings, the revered Sripada said, "The work done by Madhusudan Havaldar is very big. It is indeed commendable that Madhusudan Havaldar is producing films that introduce the haridasas of the state to the people of today at a time when there are more vulgar dialogues and hodibadi films. The youth should take advantage of this. May "Sri Jagannatha Dasa Part 2" be a great success. Produced and directed by Madhusudan Havaldar under the banner of Matambuja Movies, the film is slated to hit the screens in August.
