Artists' silence in mourning: Shivanna's warning that 'pride should not harm life'

The stampede that took place during RCB's IPL win has claimed 11 precious lives and put the lives of hundreds of people in jeopardy. Reacting to the incident, actor Shivarajkumar shared an emotional message.

Shivanna started by saying that the death toll is very painful to celebrate the victory and prayed that God gives strength to the bereaved families. "Your pride can save everyone. But only you can save your family," the message has touched everyone's heart. Actors Rakshitha Prem, Nishvika Naidu and veteran actor Kamal Haasan also condoled the tragedy. In his post, Kamal Haasan wrote, "I send my shivers down to the families of the victims in this hour of grief" and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
