Manjamma of Saregamapa fame no more: Manjamma, who won the hearts of the people with her unique singing through Zee Kannada's Saregamapa, has lost her existence. Manjamma, a resident of DV Halli in Madhugiri in Tumakuru district, passed away late at night at Victoria Hospital in Bengaluru due to illness. The successful journey of blind singers Manjamma and her sister Rathnamma made a special mark on the Saregamapa stage with their melodious singing. Actor Jaggesh extended a helping hand to these sisters and built a house named "Jaggesh-Parimala Nilaya".
