The much-awaited film 'Ekka' in Sandalwood is already impressing the audience with its songs. Notably, the song 'Bangal Bangari' is a favourite of the younger generation and the role played by actress Sanjana Anand in it has also become a topic of discussion. Talking emotionally about the film, Sanjana said, "This is my dream role. The role I played was that of a lower middle class girl. She falls in love with a boy who lives with dreams. A real, straightforward, unembellished character."

Sanjana has acted in most of the scenes for the role without makeup. "It's a character that connects with ordinary people instantly. The locations where we shot were not full of lights, sometimes we didn't even know where the camera was." The song 'Bangal Bangari' has been shot in the streets of Chamarajpet and on the sets and is sung by Antony Dasan and the music is composed by Charan Raj. The lyrics written by Nagarjuna Sharma are in the local language and connect instantly with the audience.

Sanjana, who was earlier seen as a rowdy baby in 'Salaga', is now playing the role of a smooth gentle girl in 'Ekka'. This is being hailed by fans as yet another example of his actor's ability.
