More than 30 artists including Rishab Shetty were rescued: What happened during the shooting of Kantara Chapter 1?

On the night of June 14, a major accident took place in the backwaters of Mani reservoir in Shivamogga while shooting for 'Kanthara: Chapter 1'. Actor-director Rishabh Shetty and more than 30 artistes were forced to drown in the water after the boat capsized. In the first May, junior artiste MF Kapil drowned in a waterfall near Kollur. An FIR has been registered against him and AICWA has also fought.
