"'Kannu Hodiyaka' singer Mangli in Drug & Liquor case"; Going to a birthday party violated the law

Singer Mangli's birthday party, which took place on the night of June 8 at Chevella Tripura resort in Hyderabad, has now turned into a major legal controversy. The party was attended by many celebrities from the Telugu film industry. However, the detection of ganja consumption in a raid conducted by the police and a subsequent medical check-up led to the disturbance.
The police have registered a case under the NDPS Act and registered a complaint against Mangli and the resort manager. Of the 50 people present at the party, nine tested positive for cannabis. The fact that the party was organised without obtaining permission is also the focus of the investigation.
Mangli, is quite popular for his unique style of songs. He has lent his voice to hit songs like "Ramulo Ramula", "Saranga Dhariya", "Bhoom Badhal" from the Telugu version of the song "Kannu Hoodaka" from the movie "Roberrt". The incident has also left his fans surprised and sad.
The police have also arrested the ganja supplier who was present at the party and have taken damodar into custody for questioning. Singer Divi and lyricist Kasarla Shyam were also reportedly present at the party. The case is still under investigation and more details are expected to come out in the coming days.
