Kamal Haasan's film 'Thug Life' failed at the box office and is also struggling on the OTT platform!

Kamal Haasan's much-awaited film 'ThugLife' did not do well at the box office despite all the promotions, star cast and music. Even the director directed by ace director Mani Ratnam, music by AR Rahman, star composition with Trisha and Simbu could not save the film. From the first day of the film's release, there was a lot of disappointment from the audience. The tag of "This is a bad film" stuck to the film and in the first week itself, the theatres were flooded with water. The film is not going to fall from the box office.
All these twists have directly affected OTT platforms as well, with Nate having earlier tied up Rs 100 crore with Flix. The team, which had signed the contract, is now working on a new plan. As per the original agreement, if the film is released after eight weeks, it should have fetched an average amount. But the producers are now trying to release it in four weeks and earn more money. However, Nate Flix is now in a position to hesitate. Due to this extensive box office failure and lack of audience support, there are doubts about the release of the film on a digital platform as well.
One of the reasons given to this is Kamal Haasan's controversial language statement, which says that "Kannada is derived from Tamil". Due to this, the non-release of the film in Karnataka is also a big hurdle. Many are of the opinion that it is good that the film has not been released in Karnataka.
