Comedy Khiladi-3 winner Rakesh Poojary passes away

Recently, popular comedy actor Rakesh Poojary passed away due to cardiac arrest. Rakesh, who became a household name with the show 'Comedy Khiladigalu', won the hearts of the Kannada audience with his witty performance. He suffered a heart attack while attending a mehndi ceremony at Nitte in Karkala taluk of Udupi district and breathed his last at 2 am on May 12.
Rakesh, popularly known as Vishwaroop, was the winner of Zee Kannada's 'Comedy Khiladigalu' season 3. He had acted in several Kannada and Tulu films including 'Pailwaan' and 'Idhu Entha Lokavayya'. He was active in the field of theatre and TV and brought peace in the lives of many through his laughter and humour.
Actor Shivaraj KR Pet confirmed the news and expressed grief over his untimely demise. We have lost one of the greatest talents of theatre at a young age.
