Every moment of the stampede tragedy that took place amidst the celebrations of RCB's victory at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium has created a lot of sadness, pain and anxiety. Noted rapper Chandan Shetty, who was among those who witnessed the incident, revealed that he too was lathi-charged in the chaos.

Sharing the video on Instagram, Chandan Shetty wrote, "I was very happy in the morning. I went in the middle of the crowd, happy to have found an answer to the 18-year wait. I couldn't get inside despite having a pass. It was difficult to breathe near Gate 10," he said. "I went so close and struggled to breathe myself. In such a situation, one can imagine what would have been the condition of the victims of the stampede. May his soul rest in peace."

An event without a proper organization? Chandan Shetty said, "The event could have been held in two more days. Had the ticket system been put in place, the crowd could have been controlled," he said. "It's like don't know who is responsible, but it's deeply disturbing," he said. Chandan Shetty, who shared his experience as an ordinary fan at the time, says that though
he was a rapper, he is now focusing on the deep reality of the incident and the source of the problem.
