"We are with you to build a Vishnu memorial" – Actor Aniruddha holds hands with fans

The demolition of actor Vishnuvardhan's samadhi at Abhiman Studios had sparked a huge debate in the Kannada film industry. Actor Anirudh has come out in support of Vishnuvardhan's fans and assured them that they are with you for the construction of vishnu memorial. Anirudh, who held a meeting with his fans at Vishnuvardhan's residence in Jayanagar, Bengaluru, clarified several things on the issue.

"We have not taken money to clear the grave," Anirudh said, adding that the pain of the fans was also theirs, condemning some people accusing his family of money transactions. "The idea of a perverted mind is that we will get money to clear the father's memorial. This is completely wrong," he clarified.

"The land dispute for the memorial has been going on for years," he said, adding that what happened at Vishnu Samadhi Abhiman Studio was at the insistence of the government and Ambareesh. "We did not know that the land was disputed at that time. We have approached Geeta Bali several times. But the legal issues remained unresolved," Aniruddha said. Anirudh recalled that Vishnuvardhan's wife Bharathi Amma had tearfully requested him to resolve the samadhi issue. "She is not just Vishnuvardhan's wife, she is a veteran artiste, a five-language star. It is unfair to accuse them," he said.

Stating that a Vishnu memorial is needed for the fans, Anirudh said, "Whether the government gives us land or we buy it, we have always stood by the fans for the construction of the memorial. But don't do business in the name of fans." Regretting that unnecessary allegations have been levelled against the family for many years, Anirudh warned that legal action will be taken if such allegations are made in future.

Vishnuvardhan's contribution to Kannada cinema will never be forgotten by fans. The construction of his memorial has now become a fight for the rights of fans. Anirudh's stand has turned out to be a new ray of hope for Vishnu fans.
