After the allegations of rape levelled against tv actor Madenuru Manu, there has been a huge stir in the film industry in Karnataka. Manu, who was arrested at Shantigram in Hassan district, spoke his toes in front of the media soon after his release from judicial custody on Saturday. As Manu said, the whole case is a conspiracy. "They have planned and finished me," he alleged. However, soon after the statement, another explosive audio went viral. In the audio, a man named Manu can be heard saying derogatory remarks referring to prominent leaders of Kannada film industry like Shivarajkumar, Dhruva Sarja and Darshan.
In the audio, one can be heard saying, "Shivarajkumar for another six years, Sattogtari, Dhruva Sarja for another eight years, Darshan will be crazy but the film will not run." This has angered the fans and there has been a lot of gossip against Manu. This statement shows the actor closing the doors of sacred cinema. In response, Manu clarified, "I have not abused Shivanna, Dhruva Sarja and Darshan. That voice is not mine. I will first meet shivanna, who is a grown-up, explain the truth and apologise."
However, one of the victims released another audio. In the audio too, a voice named Manu is seen using obscene language while giving details of actors and their personal lives. "I've started drinking again. I cheated on a girl. I don't want to forget," he can be heard saying in the audio.
