'Kantara: Chapter 1' junior artiste dies in accident On the sets of the much-awaited film 'Kanthara: Chapter 1', a junior artiste passed away on the sets of the much-awaited film 'Kantara: Chapter 1'. Kapil, a junior artiste who was working with the crew, drowned in the Sauparnika river in Kollur. Kapil, who hails from Kerala, drowned when he went down to the river for a bath after completing the shoot. The incident took place under Kollur police station limits in Byndoor in Udupi district. This is yet another blow to the team of 'Kanthara: Chapter 1', which has been facing hardships in the past due to bus accidents and damage to the set due to wind and rain. Directed by Rishab Shetty, the pan-India film is a prequel to 'Kanthara' and is produced by Hombale Films. More details about the incident are awaited.
