A shadow of sadness over RCB celebrations: Three killed, many injured in stampede

The huge stampede and stampede near the M Chinnaswamy Stadium during rcb's victory celebrations of winning the IPL 2025 cup turned into moments of mourning. Three people died in the midst of a crowd that had gathered to catch a glimpse of the team's players. The deceased include a woman and two youths.
More than 20 people were injured. A seriously injured boy was immediately picked up by the police and taken to an ambulance. Visuals of young girls falling on the road being picked up by close friends are doing the rounds on social media.
Though the police tried hard to control the fans, many jumped on the tree while some climbed on top of the vehicles causing irritation. The incident has raised the need to take more security measures immediately.
