Shilpa Shetty, who is known for her acting and fitness, will be next seen in the much-awaited Kannada film 'KD- The Devil'. After the teaser launch event in Mumbai, Shilpa has once again won the hearts of her fans with her glamorous avatar. The green saree and stylish photoshoot, a light green saree by Manish Malhotra design worn by Shilpa Shetty during a recent event in Hyderabad and a strapless backless blouse added a classic touch to her look. She shared pictures from the photoshoot on Instagram and it has gone viral on social media.

The pictures, which were shared with a simple style caption that read, "I eat and wear my greens" were liked by celebrities like Farah Khan, Bipasha Basu and others, with her husband Raj Kundra commenting as "my queen". Shilpa Shetty will be seen in a different avatar in front of the Kannada audience through this film. Directed by Prem, the film features Shilpa playing a powerful character named 'Satyavati'. Set in the backdrop of 1970s-80s Bangalore, the film is based on true events.

Apart from Shilpa Shetty, the film also stars Dhruva Sarja, Sanjay Dutt, Nora Fatehi, V. Sudhakar and V. Saikia. Ravichandran and Ramesh Aravind are also part of the cast. There is a huge expectation from the film as there is good scope for Shilpa Shetty's character. At the teaser launch, Shilpa Shetty was asked about the language difference and said, "I am the daughter of Maharashtra, I can speak Marathi." This answer was expressed with devotion and in a way that conveyed the message of peace.
