Kannada actress Rachita Ram has finally responded directly to the criticism from the makers of 'Sanju Weds Geetha 2' for not attending the promotions of the film. He denied the allegations and asserted that he had done nothing wrong. The film's director Nagashekhar had earlier complained to the Film Chamber against Rachita Ram for not responding and staying away from the promotions of the film. Rachita said, "I was not allowed to promote my other film during the shoot. Now I was busy working on another film. That's what I have done," he said.

"I continued to promote the film in my positions at the time of the film's release. I am very concerned about my fans. But if anyone else is not satisfied, I don't need to apologise," he said in an Instagram message. Rachita Ram, who showed the mentality of apologising only to her fans, said, "If I have hurt my fans, I apologise. I will not apologize to anyone else. Even if God comes first, he will not!" It remains to be seen how the team Nagashekhar and the rest of the members react to Rachita's reaction. The controversy has led to a debate in the Kannada film industry.
