Actor Prajwal Devaraj's tearful reaction to Darshan! – “He is like a brother to me!”

The Renukaswamy murder case, which created a stir in the Kannada film industry, is still in the news. Actor Darshan and Pavithra Gowda were among the accused in the case. Though the Karnataka High Court had initially granted bail, the Supreme Court quashed it and darshan and other accused are back in jail. Kannada film stars were seen reacting emotionally after the incident. Now, actor Prajwal Devaraj has made a heartfelt statement about Darshan.

"He is like an elder brother to me" Prajwal Devaraj, in a recent interview to 'FDFS' Kannada YouTube channel, said: "100% it's emotional. Even if only one friend has a minor problem, it hurts us. He is like an elder brother to me. How many years have we spent a lot of time. Everyone knows how close my brother is to our house. But I can't see them, I can't meet them. That's what's causing so much depression. It is sad that he has gone to jail again," Prajwal shared.

Darshan's wife Vijayalakshmi Darshan is now involved in social work along with family responsibilities. Praising her strong personality, Prajwal Devaraj said: "Vijayalakshmi does not need special support. She is a very strong lady. The whole of Karnataka has seen how much they have fought. But whatever they want, we will always be with them."

While darshan's jail term has hurt his fans, there has been no disruption in the promotions of 'The Devil'. Vijayalakshmi has assured her fans by managing the promotions of the film through social media. Amidst the legal battle against Darshan, his family, friends and fans have been extending unwavering support. Many from the film industry have reacted emotionally and have come out in support of Darshan.
