Actress Pavithra Gowda was arrested from her home and taken to jail after the Supreme Court verdict. Her daughter shared an Instagram post for the first time after her mother went to jail.
In this post made on Independence Day, she wrote:
"While Indians are proud to have got freedom, there is still violence, inequality, lack of security against women. True freedom should come to all. Let us hope that the law knows the truth of each story and justice is done."
Without saying anything directly about Amma, she has strongly questioned the lack of truth and justice in the society.
