Wife Vijayalakshmi celebrates festival in memory of Darshan in jail – Couple pic goes viral!

Though Sandalwood actor Darshan is currently lodged in Parappana Agrahara jail, his wife Vijayalakshmi Darshan celebrated Gowri Ganesha festival in a special way. After the Supreme Court cancelled their bail in the Renukasamy murder case on August 14, seven accused, including Darshan and Pavithra Gowda, were arrested. Since then, Darshan has been in jail and has not been able to spend any festivals with his family, including Independence Day, Janmashtami and Rakhi.

Vijayalakshmi Darshan shared a photo of herself with her husband on social media on the occasion of Gowri Ganesha festival. A picture of Vijayalakshmi wearing a light green salwar and smiling with her husband has caught the attention of fans. Darshan was seen wearing a black shirt and grey jeans and both of them were seen posing as a couple. Vijayalakshmi's post shared the photo with the caption, "Happy Gowri Ganesha Festival" and has garnered over 45,000 likes in just half an hour. Many fans have also written congratulatory comments.

After Darshan's arrest, Vijayalakshmi once went to jail and met her husband. Due to the normal entry, only half an hour of talks were allowed. It is learnt that the son's issue was also discussed in the conversation with her husband. Meanwhile, the song 'Idre Nemdiyag Irbek' from Darshan starrer 'Devil' has created a huge craze in Sandalwood. The song, which has garnered over 10 million views in just 22 hours, is trending on reels and social media. Composed by Ajaneesh Loknath, vocals by Deepak Beau and choreographed by Santhosh Shekhar, the song has won the hearts of the audience.

Vijayalakshmi Darshan's post has sparked a huge debate among her fans as she shared her feeling of family companionship during the festive season despite her husband being in jail.
