"Darshan's emotional tribute to B. Saroja Devi's on her death! Post goes viral"

Veteran actress B. Saroja Devi passed away on July 14 at the age of 87. Film personalities, fans, and political leaders have expressed their condolences over the development. Actor Darshan, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and music director Sadhu Kokila have reacted to the demise of the veteran actress, popularly known as Abhinaya Saraswathi.

Actor Darshan Thoogudeepa took to his social media handle. Condoling the demise of Saroja Devi, he said, "Extremely saddened. Padma Bhushan B. I pray for the soul of Saroja Devi ji in eternal peace. May God give his family and immense fans the strength to bear this loss."

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said, "Saroja Devi is a sight to behold from films like Kittur Rani Chennamma, Babruvahana, Annathangi, etc. The void he has left for the entire Indian film industry is irreplaceable."

Sadhu Kokila's emotional post, music director Sadhu Kokila wrote, "An emotional farewell to Abhinaya Saraswathi. His demise is a loss not only to Kannada but to the entire Indian film industry. May God rest his soul in peace." Saroja Devi fell unconscious at around 8:30 am on July 14 and went to bed. He was immediately rushed to Manipal Hospital but he had already passed away. The funeral will be held on Tuesday (July 15), family sources said.
