Meanwhile, Shishir Shastri's father Sugganahalli Shadakshari has clarified the matter. In a recent interview to Newso Newsu's YouTube channel, he said, "We have never stopped our son's life decisions. Shishir has now started a production house. His goal is different. He knows when to get married. Whatever girl he chooses, we will always agree."

Talking about the rumours about his son's marriage, Shadakshari said, "His career field is not new to me. I have also done seven-eight serials and one film in the past. I understand the situation of actors and directors very well. These kinds of trends come and go. I don't take it seriously," he said.

Shishir Shastri also shared his views and said, "Everyone I see with me on social media has come and gone to our house. My father also knows him, so there is no problem."
