Actress Namrata Gowda of "Bigg Boss" fame, who won the hearts of the people of the state with the serial "Naagini", is playing the lead role in "Mahan", directed by renowned director PC Shekhar and produced by Prakash Buddur under the banner of Aakash Pictures in association with a reputed company. Many friends had been urging me to act in a film for a long time. I was waiting for a good story. When director PC Sekhar narrated the story of "Mahan", the story came close to the mind. I agreed to act as soon as I heard the story. I am very happy to act in this film which revolves around the lives and hardships of farmers. Prakash Buddur is producing the film without any shortage. Pc Sekhar, who has given a lot of good films to the film industry, is directing the film. Vijayraghavendra, Radhika Chetan, Mithra and others are part of the cast. Actress Namrata Gowda says, "I am very happy that I am acting in this film which has a story that is close to reality.
