In the recent past, actress Ramya has been flooded with obscene messages from Darshan's fans on social media, which has sparked a huge debate in the Kannada film industry. Many artists have come out in support of Ramya in this regard and now the list includes actor Yogi of Loose Maada fame.

"Those who send obscene messages like this should be picked up and beaten with slippers. All of them were born in their mother's womb, weren't they? They don't even think about whom they are insulting," he said. There is no doubt that social media is now a platform to connect with fans. But people who misuse it, abuse women with fake accounts are worrying the society," he said.

Yogi said, "With the advent of social media, fan wars have intensified. It's not the quality of a true fan to behave in a way that insults the entire fan." Sharing his experience, he said, "If I am a fan of an artiste, I will not do anything to scold and insult anyone in his name. It is not pride, it is a reward of inequality," he said.

In his opinion, Ramya's filing of a complaint is a rewarding act. "Today's people need to be made aware. Others will wake up only if someone is subjected to legal action. Only then will these beverly comments stop," yogi said. Speaking on this sensitive subject during the muhurat of 'Loose Maada', Yogi recalled that artists are also a responsible part of the society.
