'Uttarakanda' movie has not stopped – director clarifies, shooting to resume soon

Director Rohit Padakhi and producer Karthik Gowda have finally come out with a clarification on the rumours that the film has stopped. "Uttarakhand has not stopped, we have only passed it temporarily," is his direct reply. The main reason for the temporary delay was the ill-health of Karnataka Chakravarthy Shivarajkumar, who is playing the lead role in the film. "Since he has to be more involved in action scenes, we passed the shoot in the interest of his health," Said Rohit Padakhi.

After the completion of 'Ekka', the discussions on 'Uttarakanda' started again and 'Uttarakanda' was postponed temporarily as he was busy with the release of another important film 'Ekka' starring Dali Dhananjay. But now that the shooting of 'Ekka' has been completed, the discussions on 'Uttarakanda' have picked up again.

The initial schedule of shooting of 'Uttarakanda' took place in Belagavi and Vijapur regions. Shivanna plays the role of the owner, and Dhananjay's style is the main attraction of the film. A healthy shoot is required as there are heavy action sequences in the film.

Rohit Padakhi is excited to bring another cult classic through this film. His earlier films like 'Daya', 'Ratna' etc. attracted attention because of the importance given to the plot. 'Uttarakanda' also has a different style of narrative and the expectations of the fans are high.
