Trailers of 'Custody' and 'Palguni' released by Kannada film industry veterans

The trailer launch of "Custody" and "Palguni", produced by Nagesh Kumar US & JJ Srinivas and directed by JJ Srinivas, was held recently. Pro-Kannada activists Sa Ra Govindu and Kannada Film Producers Association president Umesh Banakar unveiled the trailer of the two films and wished the team all the best. While "Custody" is a suspense thriller, "Palguni" is a film based on a real-life incident that happened in Mandya. Priya of "Bheema" fame plays the lead role in "Custody" while Rekhashree plays the role of "Palguni". Nagesh Kumar U.S. has produced two films directed by me. As far as I know, this is the first time that two films produced by the same person and directed by the same person are releasing on the same day. Both the films are releasing on August 8, the auspicious day of Varamahalakshmi festival. May all of you encourage both our films," said director JJ Srinivas.

I am very happy that so many celebrities from the Kannada film industry came to the trailer launch of our two films and wished them. Thank you to all of them. Yet these two films are films of different genres. The two films are slated to hit the screens on August 8 in association with the team. We are also distributing these films with a few friends," said producer Nagesh Kumar US.

The director came and narrated the story to me from a different film. But three days later, he told me another story. That is the story of the film "Custody". I am a police officer in this film. Durga Parameshwari is the name of my character, says Priya of "Bheema" fame. "Palguni" is my fourth film. I play a village girl in the film. Actress Rekhashree said that "Palguni" is the name of her character.

I have acted in both 'Custody' and 'Palguni'. Nagendra Urs said that he has also edited the film "Custody". Producer "Chingari" Mahadevu, Victory Vasu, Aaradhya, Vinya Shetty, "Cheetah" Seenu, Srinivas, Magic Ramesh, Ashwini and other artists and technicians of "Custody" and "Palguni" were present at the press meet.
