Nowadays, a lot of producers and technicians are coming to Kannada film industry with a passion for cinema and are involved in film production. Lakshmi Harish of Productions is one of them. He runs the RSP Group of Companies and is producing a suspense, thriller film titled 'Usiru' through his RSP Productions. The shooting of the film has already been completed and the post-production is in the final stages. Recently, actors Srinagara Kitty and Ravi R Garani released the teaser of the film and wished the team all the best.

Through 'Usiru', the director is going to tell how a police officer protects his wife from an alarming man. The film has been shot in and around Bengaluru, Madikeri, Chikkamagaluru and Mudigere. Speaking on the occasion, producer Lakshmi Harish said, "We have made this film based on the fact that what you hear may be false, what you have seen may be false and when you think slowly, you will know the truth. When Prabhakar narrated the story to us, we liked the storyline and started the film, he said, adding that the film is now in the last leg of DI work. Director Prabhakar said, "Directing is my dream for 12 years, I have worked as an assistant director for a couple of Tamil films and this is my directorial debut. We have made this film on a big scale with a good team, there are all kinds of emotions in the film, every character in the film has its own identity, no character comes and goes like this, there is all kinds of content like husband's love, friendship and so on. The tagline of the film is 07.08.09, Tilak is a police officer and Priya Hegde plays the role of his wife. Tilak Shekhar, the hero of the film, said, "I am an investigation officer in the film. I have never heard of such a concept anywhere, there are a lot of interesting elements in the film like the codeword 07.08.09," said Priya Hegde, the heroine, adding, "There are many shades to my character in the film. The role of the wife is one of them. The script gets a major twist from my character. It's a pleasure working with a female producer, the producers who saw my Telugu film earlier called me and told me that we had completed the film after facing a lot of hurdles.

Music director RS Ganesh Narayanan said, "In the 25th year of my career, which started with 'Heartbeat', I have composed music for 'Usiru' and all the five songs in different genres have come out very well. Abhi has written the lyrics very well, we have done a theme for all the characters, the fast screen ply is in the film and it doesn't get boring anywhere. he said. Another actor Santhosh, actress Apoorva, villain Arun, writer and dialogue writer Bairavarama and others spoke about the film.
