Superstar Rajinikanth watches Vishnu Manchu starrer 'Kannappa' on the occasion of 30 years of 'Pedarayudu'


Amidst the memorable moments of the last 30 years and the excitement of cinema, two stalwarts of Indian cinema, superstar Rajinikanth and actor Mohan Babu, reunited in Chennai. The reason for this is; "Pedarayudu" movie. The film was released on June 15, 1995. Now, on the occasion of completing 30 years, both the star actors watched Vishnu Manchu's 'Kannappa' and reminisced about it.
Directed by Ravi Raja Pinisetty, "Pedarayudu" was a blockbuster hit of those days. The film has remained forever in Telugu cinema due to its solid story style, memorable performances and unique mass appeal. As soon as the film completed 30 years, Rajinikanth and Mohan Babu came together to watch 'Kannappa'. Kannappa will be released on June 27 at a pan-India level globally. The film uniquely captures the story of Kannappa, a devotee of Lord Shiva. After watching the film, Rajinikanth got a little emotional.
"This is an extraordinary film. Emotion, visual grandeur and spirituality—all extraordinary." Talking about Rajinikanth, Mohan Babu said, "Today I have got the embrace of Rajinikanth that I have been waiting for for 22 years. Now I am not afraid. I am invincible. Kannappa will come!" he said excitedly. Kannappa is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh. Mohan Babu is bankrolling and producing his son's film. The film will be released in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi on June 27.
