"Don't erase the memory of the brave lion: Sudeep on behalf of millions of fans'

Kannada film industry's adventure lion Dr. Vishnuvardhan's samadhi site has been cleared and fans are outraged. Actor Kichcha Sudeep has also extended his support to the fans who have been fighting to save the Vishnu memorial for years. The demolition of the memorial took place overnight and many fans are in pain. In a long emotional post on his X account, Sudeep wrote, "I feel the same pain as it does when the temple we believed in is broken."
Sudeep has made it clear that he and lakhs of fans are ready to make all efforts to preserve the monument. "The government should intervene and resolve the issue. If the land buyers agree, we will provide adequate finance. I am ready to stand in front and restore the memorial." It is learnt that the High Court has ordered that vishnu's samadhi be treated as an official monument as it is located in Mysuru. However, fans are disgusted that there is not a single place named after Vishnuvardhan in a metropolis like Bengaluru.
Sudeep recalled Vishnuvardhan's spiritual vision in his post. Sudeep wrote, "Vishnu has said that I should be in panchabhutas, not commit to plants." He, however, stressed that there is a need for a memorial to pray and pay homage to the fans.
"Money is not that important to us. Feeling, respect and pride are important. Let the government, courts and land owners come together and resolve this issue. Don't betray our love and affection," Sudeep concluded. The memories of Sahasra Lion are always alive in the hearts of Kannadigas. But the question now is whether there will be a physical symbol left for those memories.
