Now (July 14), veteran actress B. Saroja Devi's death at the age of 87 has shocked the Kannada film industry. Here are the details of his last moments:
Saroja Devi, who was staying at her residence in Bengaluru, suddenly fell to the ground in the morning after she felt dizzy. His family immediately rushed him to Manipal Hospital. But by the time he was admitted to the hospital, she had died. The doctors declared him dead at 8:30 am.
His body was brought home at 9:30 am. The funeral will be held tomorrow (July 15). Saroja Devi's husband Harsha died in 1986. He had adopted and raised his elder sister's grandchildren. They have two adopted children.
He contributed immensely to acting. Saroja Devi's death has been mourned by film personalities, political leaders and fans. His words and memories will always remain alive in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu cinema.
