'Rama and Ramu' trailer released, giving voice to the pain of civil servants!

Director Chandru Obayya, who is known for his films U Turn 2 and Karimani Maliki, has now directed and produced the socially relevant film Rama and Ramu. He also plays the role of a pourakarmika in the film. The teaser launch of the film and the press conference were held recently. The film talks about the problems faced by the pourakarmikas on a daily basis and the role of citizens at this stage.

Speaking on the occasion, Chandru Obayya said, "I started this film a year ago. The video I once saw on Facebook inspired me to make this film. When a woman sanitation worker, who cleans our surroundings and roads, stood in front of her house and asked for water, I was deeply saddened by the way the family behaved. I wrote a novel based on the same incident. That's what I did after that. What if we don't respect those who clean our environment? I made this film with a team. I have made this film which gives a message that i have to contribute something to the society after my birth. The film is already nearing release and has received a U/A certificate from the censor board. He said he would be released soon. Soumya, the heroine of the film from Belagavi, Nagendra Urs, who plays the role of a cop, actor Mugu Suresh, Pourakarmika Sangha president Narayana and others were present on the days.
