The much-awaited second edition of the Queen's Premier League (QPL) 'Kreedotsavam' logo was officially launched in Bengaluru today. After the overwhelming response to the successful first edition last year, 12 new sports have been added to this edition, making it not just a sport but also an entertainment festival. After the stupendous success of the first edition of 25 million digital views and 5000+ viewers, QPL 2.0 is all set to emerge as an Indiawide movement.

QPL Founder Shri Mahesh Gowda, popular actress and Sandalwood Queen Smt. Ramya, noted actor and QPL Committee Member Shri Pramod Shetty were present on the occasion. Bollywood actress Elli Evram was also present to express her support. Celebrities from the sports, fashion and film worlds of Bengaluru were present on the occasion.

"With QPL 2.0 we are not just going to the next level — we are completely transforming the sports and entertainment sector for women," said Mr. Mahesh Gowda. "We are aiming for 50 million digital views this season, ready to expand across India. Today, young people need to be worried about the increasing access ibility of mobile gaming and technology. The motivation for young people is that cine stars are giving them time to stay fit. True empowerment begins with real participation."

Speaking to the media, actress Ramya said: "I really like the way QPL is supporting and encouraging women artists. Women will get more opportunities through this platform. In addition, women should be encouraged to actively participate in sports. It helps us stay physically healthy and stays away from online gaming and social media. I am happy to be associated with QPL." The QPL 2.0 program gives a message to the youth to encourage physical activity rather than excessive use of digital media.

"QPL is not just about sports, it's an entertainment aimed at," says Pramod Shetty. "It brings the film industry and the corporate world on one platform, providing fitness, women empowerment and vibrant solidarity. This is a fitting complement to the reckless use of technology among the youth." This edition is also providing a platform for women technicians and those working behind the scenes. It Is A Symbol Of The Real Advance That Has Taken A Step Towards Holistic Empowerment.
