It is true that Kannada cinema is full of talents. But it is noteworthy that the lack of unity within the front has also been expressed by all the old and the new recently. Director Jogi Prem has also lent his voice to the debate, which started recently by actress Ramya.

Speaking at the teaser launch event of Dhruva Sarja starrer 'KD: The Devil', Prem said, "We are the ones who pull our feet here." Citing the unity of Tamil and Telugu cinema, he said, "If there is an elder brother there, he will run away if his brother calls him. But if we have an elder brother, he will throw away his stone." Recently, Ramya had also said, "Kannada stars are not supporting newcomers' films. There is no unity," he said. He said, "One doesn't go to promote one's film. Female actresses are not getting enough recognition."

Literature, pride, support should all be shared without discrimination, there is a sharpness in Prem's words – "Do we fight and die in our own house? I hope we all live together. No one is bigger than cinema here." He revealed with these words how much grief there is in Sandalwood.

"Dr. If Ambareesh called during Rajkumar's time, everyone would come. Now there is no such cooperation. Everyone has gone their own way," prem's words are a reflection of the state of cinema today. It is natural to say that many new talents are getting delayed due to lack of unity. It is clear from this discussion that the guidance of elders, the support of stars, and the spirit of brotherhood are very essential for the Kannada film industry.
