Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Telugu film superstar Pawan Kalyan is all set to visit Dharmasthala Manjunatha Swamy temple in Karnataka. On September 11, at 5 pm, he will reach Dharmasthala and offer prayers. On the same day, he will also attend an aarti service in front of the temple.

In the recent past, there have been several incidents of propaganda against Dharmasthala and allegations against religious officials. Chinnaiah, identified as Chinnaiah, has been arrested for making allegations against the Dharmadhikari and the police are investigating. Legal action is being taken against any forces that harm the dignity of the constituency. It is in this context that Pawan Kalyan's visit to Dharmasthala has political, religious and social implications.

Pawan Kalyan has declared himself a "Sanatani Hindu" many times and has stood firm in his stand for Hindu values.
