'Muddulakshmi' actor Charith Balappa arrested in sexual assault case Actor Charith Balappa has been arrested by the RR Nagar police in connection with a sexual assault case. Charith has been accused of forcing physical contact with the girl on the pretext of love, threatening to kill her and harassing her for money. According to the woman's complaint, Charith barged into the girl's house and harassed her and threatened to circulate private photos and videos. Though Charith got married in 2017, he faced problems with his ex-wife even after their divorce in 2022. Earlier, a complaint was registered against Charith at Sarjapur police station. Several serious allegations, including sexual assault, have surfaced and the case is under investigation.
