Madenur Manu gets relief from the film industry – Ban imposed on Kannada film industry lifted

Television actor and comedy khiladigalu fame Madenuru Manu was recently embroiled around controversies. He was left out of the film industry amidst the ire of fans after his audio clip in which derogatory remarks about Darshan, Dhruva Sarja and Shivarajkumar went viral.
More than 100 cases were registered against Manu, a testimony to the seriousness of the case. Irked by his words, fans moved towards demanding a permanent ban from the film industry against Manu.
But recently, Manu has written an apology letter expressing regret for his mistake and apologising to the veteran artistes. Umesh Banakar, president of the producers' association, has accepted the letter and announced that he will be given another chance. As Umesh Banakar says, "Manu has shown his guilt through the letter. This is the last time. There is no forgiveness if you make a mistake again. Cinema is our family. You are a budding artist. We have to move on a better path in the days to come," he said.
The seniors of the film industry have now shown a soft corner for Manu, who was unable to meet Shivanna even though he was waiting in front of his house and tried to convey his feelings through a letter. This is also a temporary relief for Manu's fans.
