Kantara Chapter 1 set for release in Australia and New Zealand

The much-awaited film Kantara Chapter 1 is all set to hit the screens worldwide on October 2, 2025. Written and directed by Rishab Shetty, the film is produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films. For viewers in Australia and New Zealand, the film will be distributed by Dream Screens International, where cinephiles will get a chance to witness this divine story on the big screen.
The film is a prequel to the globally acclaimed film Kantara (2022) and will delve deeper into the roots of our culture, folklore and spirituality. The film will be released in multiple languages including Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Bengali and English. Kantara Chapter 1, part of Hombale Films' long-awaited vision of creating timeless stories, is one of the most anticipated films of the year.
