“79th Independence Day celebrated together by film artists, technicians and directors”

On this auspicious occasion of 78 years of independence and the 79th anniversary of independence, the Karnataka Film Directors' Association (August 15, 2025), formed by eminent senior film directors like Mr. Puttanna Kanagal, Lakshminarayana, Siddalingaiah, Rajendra Singh Babu and others, celebrated the 79th Independence Day by hoisting the flag in front of the Association's office in Gandhinagar on the morning by senior artiste and director, Mr. Ramesh Bhat.

Senior junior film directors, new president of Karnataka Film Workers, Technicians and Artistes Federation Somashekar and office-bearers of directors' association vice-president Jagadish Koppa, secretaries top star Renu Kumar, joint secretary Malavalli Saikrishna, treasurer Aditya Chikkanna and executive committee members were present.

On this occasion, the newly elected presidents and office-bearers of the Karnataka Film Workers, Technicians and Artistes' Federation were felicitated at the association's office.
