First Day First Show Trailer Released by Fans of Veteran Artists; A Cinema that Moves Around the Kannada Cinema Industry

Kannada cinema is slowly changing. People don't come to theatres. We have reached a time when people from home sit and watch movies on OTT. Therefore, it would not be wrong to say that the tradition of theatre is being forgotten. In particular, the culture of first day first show has been declining lately. Amidst this development, the first day first show, which revolves around Kannada cinema, is all set to make its debut on the silver screen. The first day first show is a new attempt by Kannada film industry's promising director Girish. The trailer launch of the film was held yesterday at the Artistes' Association in Bengaluru. The trailer launch event was attended by fans of Dr Rajkumar, Vishnuvardhan, Shankar Nag and Ambareesh.

Producer Sara Govind, Veerakaputra Srinivas, Malgudi Days fame Manjunath and Ambi fans Belur Somashekar and Rudregowda wished the entire team. Master Manjunath has been very supportive of the first day first show film and watched the trailer from Tokyo, Japan and made a video. Girish, who participated in yesterday's programme, has extended his full support to the different efforts. After the trailer launch, director Girish said, "I made my debut as a director in the industry with the film Ond Katha Solla. After that, I made a film called Wow. I did a film called Shalivahana Era last year. Now I have done a film called First Day First Show. Four of my films are of different tastes. The first day is more of a celebration representing the entire film industry than a first-show story. This is a film that is intended to create positivity about Kannada cinema.

The office-bearers of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Bhama Girish have supported this unique effort to bring together the film industry and fans of all the actors and take the legacy of theatres to the film lovers. The first day first show trailer starts with Prakash Raj's brilliant voice and the trailer is impressive. Girish G, Jeevitha Vasishta, Rohit Srinath, Aniruddha Sastry, BM Venkatesh, Reshma Lingarajappa, Gilli actor, Dasavara Chandru, Harish Urs, Sobhita Shivanna, Shyam, Ganesh, Prashanth YN are part of the cast. Urmila Kiran has supported Girish's dream and has bankrolled the film. Yogesh Srinivas, Madhu Kumar, Sunil Sibi, Varun J and Bhaskar CS are the co-producers. Ujjwal Chandra is the editor, Rakesh C Tilak and Arun Kumar are the cinematographers and Swaminathan is the background scorer.
